Members of both parties are vowing to override the presidential decision in the interests of national security, disregarding the fact that since 9/11, UAE has been a pretty strong ally in our fight against terrorism. Dan Drezner has the whole story and as usual when politicians start spouting off sound bites, the truth is a whole lot more complex as well as interesting.
